Keeping Track of Your Collection
The collection tracker keeps regular cards and special printings separate, so your inventory can reflect what is actually in your binder. Here is how to add cards and keep a useful backup.
Pick the version you own
Before adding a card, check its printing. The regular artwork and an alternate-art copy belong to the same gameplay card, but they are separate items in your collection. Choosing the right version now saves you from correcting a whole set later.
Open a card in Atlas, switch to the artwork you own, and use the collection quantity controls. If you have two regular copies and one alternate-art copy, enter those quantities on their respective printings. You can come back and adjust them whenever your collection changes.
Browse your own cards
The My collection only filter lets you explore the cards you have recorded. You can combine it with the normal set, type, domain, and mechanic filters. This is useful when you want to work with your existing cards or check what you own from a particular release.
An empty result can mean that a filter is too narrow, rather than that your quantities are gone. Clear the other filters and check the collection page. Also make sure you are in the same browser and profile where you entered the cards.
The collection page offers an Owned view and an All cards view. Owned is convenient for checking your inventory; All cards lets you find something you have not added yet. Sort by name, quantity, or set depending on what you are checking.
Add a larger list in one go
For a stack of cards, the bulk-add box is quicker than opening every card individually. Enter a quantity and card name on each line, then review the list. The report tells you what matched and which lines need fixing.
Do not skip the review if the list includes special artwork. A card name alone usually matches the preferred printing. Supported collector information helps identify an exact version; if that information is missing, check the resolved printing before adding the quantities.
The bulk action adds the resolved cards to your existing quantities. That is different from importing a backup, which replaces the saved quantity list. If you are adding a purchase or a batch of cards, use bulk add. If you are restoring an exported collection, use Import backup.
Read set progress with the catalog in mind
Set progress compares your recorded cards with the printings currently available in Nexus-Atlas. It is a handy way to find gaps, but the total depends on what the archive contains. A newly added printing can change the total after a site update.
When you are close to finishing a set, look through the missing versions instead of relying only on the percentage. Check collector numbers and treatments against your physical cards. That is especially useful if your goal is a base set and the archive also includes special versions.
Make a backup before you need one
Your quantities are saved in this browser, without an account or cloud sync. Export backup downloads a file you can keep elsewhere. Make a fresh copy after a long sorting session, before a large import, and before clearing browser data or moving to another device.
Importing that backup replaces the current quantities after you confirm it. If you have added cards since the backup was made, export the current collection first so you have both versions available.
If a saved printing is temporarily missing from the catalog, its quantity is kept and included in backups. The collection page tells you about unavailable entries rather than quietly removing them. You can still preserve that inventory while the card data is being corrected.
Build a habit that suits your collection
You do not have to enter everything in one session. Start with one set, binder page, or recent purchase. Check a few quantities against the cards in front of you, export a backup, and pick up where you left off next time.
